Run anti-clockwise, the circuit was reprofiled in recent years to improve the flow and encourage overtaking, with tighter hairpins eased into faster, more sweeping corners and longer full-throttle runs. The result is a quicker, more rhythmic lap that has produced markedly better racing than the original layout.
