The story of Carlos Sainz Jr.
Carlos Sainz, son of the double World Rally Champion of the same name, won the 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 title and entered Formula 1 with Toro Rosso in 2015. Spells at Renault and McLaren followed, where he built a reputation as a quick, intelligent and superbly consistent racer.
A move to Scuderia Ferrari in 2021 delivered his maiden Grand Prix win at the 2022 British Grand Prix, with further victories including Singapore 2023, where he ended a long winning streak for the dominant car of the era. After four seasons in red he switched to Williams for 2025.
