The story of Esteban Ocon
Esteban Ocon, from Évreux in Normandy, won the 2014 FIA Formula 3 European title — beating Max Verstappen — and the 2015 GP3 Series before reaching Formula 1 with Manor in 2016. He moved to Force India in 2017 and built a reputation as a tough, uncompromising racer.
After a year on the sidelines as Mercedes reserve in 2019, he joined Renault, which became Alpine, and delivered the defining result of his career: victory at the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix. He left for Haas in 2025.
In 2026 Ocon is the lead driver at Haas, bringing race-winning experience to the American team alongside Oliver Bearman.
