The story of Charles Leclerc
A product of Monaco and the Ferrari Driver Academy, Charles Leclerc dominated his way to Formula 1: champion of the 2016 GP3 Series and the 2017 FIA Formula 2 Championship, both at the first attempt. He made his F1 debut with Sauber in 2018 before being promoted to Scuderia Ferrari for 2019.
Leclerc announced himself immediately, taking his first wins at Spa and Monza in 2019 and establishing a reputation as one of the fastest qualifiers in the sport — a serial pole-sitter, including emotional poles at his home Monaco Grand Prix. Across the seasons that followed he carried Ferrari’s title hopes, winning races such as the 2024 Monaco and Italian Grands Prix.
For 2026 he remains the cornerstone of the Scuderia, now partnered by Lewis Hamilton, leading Ferrari’s pursuit of a first drivers’ championship since 2007.
