The story of Lance Stroll

Lance Stroll, born in Montreal in 1998, won the Italian and European Formula 3 titles before stepping into Formula 1 with Williams in 2017. He marked his rookie year with a podium at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, becoming one of the youngest drivers to stand on an F1 rostrum.

He moved to Racing Point in 2019 — the team backed by his father Lawrence Stroll — and took a memorable pole position in the wet at the 2020 Turkish Grand Prix, adding further podiums. The squad became Aston Martin in 2021, where Stroll has remained ever since.

In 2026 he continues at Aston Martin alongside Fernando Alonso, a steady points-scorer as the team begins its works partnership with Honda.
